Cycling and walking
and hire bikes
Of course you can bring your own bike and park it at night in our lockable garage. We have a ladies and a men's bike available to ride in the evening to a restaurant in the area. When you want to use the bikes all day we ask for a voluntary contribution for this.
Would you prefer an electric bike or a mountain bike, we hire them elsewhere so they are available on the day of arrival.
Several bike routes run through the area (including the Via Romana).
Both flat as hilly ......every wish is fillable. Using the cycle network based on the junction system you arrive at the nicest spots. The various nodes are indicated by using recognizable signage, so you can orient easily.
If you prefer walking?There are a lot of beautiful trails on the walking junction network. Or choose here a route.
Walking is fun, but strolling is more adventurous. Walk along meandering cowpaths, often right along the river, climbing over ridges and tree trunks while passing Galloway cattles and Konik horses such are f.a. 'Ommetje Bos en Kuil' and the "Boerenwandelpad Vennenpad'.
